Sala del Capitano del Popolo

Il s’agit de la salle où se réunit actuellement le conseil municipal. Deux grandes toiles ornent les murs :

Les seize lunettes

Sur un plan ornemental, l’intérêt de cette salle réside dans les seize lunettes, peintes entre 1592 et 1600, qui en rythment le plafond (Scènes de l’histoire de Sienne) :
